Kings XI punjab thrash Rajasthan Royals

Kings XI punjab thrashed the Rajasrhan Royal in the absence of their skipper shane warne. Shane replaces shane, but could not replace his magic. Shane watson was the substitute captain in the match against Kings XI Punjab, which was more like a practice match.

Earlier shaun marsh hit 7 sixes and rained fours from his bat to score the third highest score in IPL. For this performance he bagged the man of the match award. The support at the start by james hopes also proved vital, but yuvraj gave it the perfect finish by scoring 49 from only 16 balls. He put the ball out of the park as many as 6 times in his 16 ball knock. It also included 4 fours.

Mumbai Indians loose out in the decider game

Mumbai Indians once again fail to come up trumps in a close finish. They have now been at the suffering end for three times in such a close contest and things will now become even more tighter for the Mumbai Indians. They will be glued to their Television sets watching the Chennai game tomorrow and would hope that Chennai loses. Mumbai then will have to win their next game to qualify for the Semis. But one would say that the Mumbai team left it too much on their fate. It all looked so well in the middle overs when they sent all the danger men back into the hut but then this young duo of Patel and Jadeja came out there in the middle and played sensibly till the very end. Just when they needed some big shots to stay in contention, both of these young men unleashed some handy strokes to take their side closer. Last ball added a lot of spice and drama and in the end, some sloppy work pegged back the Mumbai Indians in a cliff-hanger. IPL is getting better and better every evening now and this is slowly becoming a treat for all the cricket lovers. Hope you’ve enjoyed this game.

Man of the Match: Sohail Tanveer for his splendid bowling figures.

Dravid may part ways with Vijay Mallya’s team

Vijay Mallya-owned IPL franchise — Royal Challengers — is likely to receive a jolt as its ‘icon’ player and skipper Rahul Dravid is believed to have expressed interest in parting ways with Mr Mallya for the league’s second season.

Dravid, according to insiders in the franchise as well as BCCI, is unhappy with the way the team management has dealt with the players.
